Thump, Thump. My feet fly faster with every scared step I take. The rhythm is the only thing that keeps me from losing it. I don't know how much longer I can keep running like this. My heart feels like a gigantic hand is squeezing it. The fist is closing tighter and tighter around my heart and I can no longer feel my legs. I have been running so long I can't even remember what I'm running from. That feeling of blind terror is quickly draining out of my along with the will power to keep running.
