Where do dreams come from?

Everybody dreams. Well, most people do anyway. I want to read about your dreams.

I want you to write about your adventures in Dream World. What kind of journey did you take or what types of people did you encounter. Was it horrifying? Was it happy? Tell me.

No making things up.

Take as many snippets as you like; just whenever you start a new dream put in a new chapter. If you can remember when you had this dream the by all means slap a date on it.

Remember: New chapters mean less confusion when people read it.

If you have a series of dreams then give us a chronicling of such.

That's it. Get at it.

-Ryan

I've always thought that dreams are what makes us human. If you don't dream, you ain't human.

Awesomeness! This will be a fun tree. Writing down dreams is trickier than one might think though, since so often dreams are hazy; more impressions than anything. Is it ok to make up some details (filling the gaps) for readabillity?

(Gasp!) If what Ryan says is true, then I must be a toaster, or a Cylon, maybe even a Terminator, or worse yet... a politician!

Wow! I had the same idea! Haha, ah well, it's still pretty neat.

This is a great idea, although I very much agree with Becky.

If you really need to make something up then go ahead. just try to keep it along the same lines as the dream or write 'then things got a bit hazy' or something.

Excellent idea Ryan. I mean writing the dream notion not just fictitious dreams. Plenty of people don't think they dream. This may be because they don't remember their dreams. Sometimes I can remember a dream when I first wake up and then the memory fades. A good idea, if you want to remember it, is to write it down straight away. Other dreams are hauntingly remembered or recurrent. Maybe this is because a certain situation is repeated in your life or problem occurs. You explain it to yourself in the form of a dream. It may not be obvious what the dream is about until you unravel the clues in the dream. What is the main feeling you get from the dream? It can be just physical discomfort in the night.

My dream one time was about the best book ever, WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE. I was in the zoo, and one of the beasts was my friend and she turned bad. Like, she wanted to kill me. Eat me. We escaped to a giant park i know, and i said, i cant be here alone. not even with you. She took me to a really cool place ive been in the park but instead of being peaceful, there were some scary dogs barking at me and they were totally on 'attack' mode. i got really scared, of course, im terrified of dogs. I tried to run away and she pulled me back, and protectively held me. She growled at the vicious dogs, and at last, we were safe. After that, i was faking out so she took me to a strange, unfamiliar forest and took me to a white, smooth tunnel where my family and friends were, and she took me to this meadow, with lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!). and then i woke up. lol no i did not have that dream, my sister did. and i LOVE dogs...my sister is super afraid of them.

I don't think I dream all the time, and whenever I do it's most likely forgotten by the time I have lunch that day. The one's that I do remember are all pretty weird in one way or another.
